Due to popular demand for more evening and weekend hours, LITS has added a sewing machine to the Digital Media and Collaboration Lab (DMCL) on the A floor of Carpenter Library. Students, faculty and staff with are invited to use it (on a first-come, first-served basis), whenever Carpenter library is open.
Bring your own basic sewing machine skills and fabric and thread. (We've provided instructions on threading and winding a bobbin for this model sewing machine model.) If you don't -- yet! -- know how to use a sewing machine, or need advice or supplies, please make an appointment with Makerspace support staff first.
