Perusall is a free social annotation tool designed by faculty to motivate students to complete pre-class reading, listening, and viewing assignments and improve their comprehension. You can use it to create assignments that require students to highlight parts of a text, podcast, or video and discuss them or add comments and questions. These assignments can be graded for completion or on the quality of the interactions and grades optionally fed back to Moodle.
Perusall will host a series of webinars for faculty at 10-11am ET, starting on January 22:
- Perusall Kickstart (1/22, 1/30, 2/26, 3/5) for complete beginners.
- Perusall Next Level (1/24, 1/31, 2/28, 3/6) to learn more advanced features and discuss discipline-specific assignment strategies.
