360 Presentation: K-Power: Korea’s Rise from Ashes to Icon - Analysis of its Money, Might, and Minds
Students will present their research projects exploring Tradition & Modernity, Inequality, Gender, and National Branding in South Korea. Exhibition materials will remain available for visitors to explore in Campus Center 105 through Friday, December 12th.
This semester, students have explored three key dimensions of South Korea: Might (its politics, military, and diplomacy), Money (its economy), and Minds (its culture). To learn more about this cluster, please visit our website.
The 360° Program invites students to delve into a theme or question from multiple disciplinary perspectives by enrolling in a cluster of multiple courses taught by individual faculty in a single semester for the purposes of research and scholarship.
Interdisciplinary and interactive, 360° builds on Bryn Mawr's strong institutional history of learning experiences beyond the traditional classroom, placed within a rigorous academic framework. 360° participants hone their arguments and insights through writing and research, develop strategies for teamwork that push the limits of their talents and creativity, and work with professors and scholars to promote big-picture thinking. Experiential learning and travel opportunities associated with the 360° Program are funded by Bryn Mawr College.
Bryn Mawr College welcomes the full participation of all individuals in all aspects of campus life. Should you wish to request a disability-related accommodation for this event, please contact the event sponsor/coordinator. Requests should be made as early as possible.
