The Program in Film Studies (Bryn Mawr College), Department of Russian (Bryn Mawr College), Film and Media Studies (Swarthmore College), Visual Studies (Haverford College) present the spring 2023 Counter-Narratives Film Series.

Tri-Co's film series features screenings of films from around the globe depicting controversial flashpoints from 21st-century history. Each screening is followed by a discussion about the topics raised by the films, be it about a local conflict, a war, or a series of protests. We invite Tri-Co students and faculty to engage with contemporary international cinema, interrogate topical, existential crises, and learn more about the intersection between arts, politics, war, and constitutional freedoms.

Supported by Mellon Seed Grant, The Program in Film Studies (Bryn Mawr College).
