The directory includes faculty and staff who identified as FGLI in college and are interested in mentoring and supporting FGLI students at Bryn Mawr College.
Several times a semester, faculty, staff, and upperclassmen work together to help contribute towards creating informational workshops about topics that FGLI students have expressed interest in.
The deans helps students to navigate resources and access emergency funds. If students have a brief question which any dean can answer, or a time-sensitive issue which requires a quick reply, there is a walk-in hour every day of the week from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
FGLI Thrive and Metacognition (for incoming first-year students)
- FGLI Thrive Plus section will address the FGLI student experience and create a sense of community in the classroom.
- Metacognition and the Transition to College will be a semester-long course that will overlap with THRIVE in many ways and earn students an additional 0.5 academic credits.

The Pensby Center, home of Breaking Barriers, implements programs and activities that address issues of diversity, power, and privilege, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, country of origin, class, gender, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, and disability with a goal of improving the campus climate and enhancing community life at Bryn Mawr College.
The Pensby Center has provided extra winter attire to students when the weather gets colder on campus by holding a Winter Closet on the second floor.
Special workshops are provided for FGLI students. A career closet is also available to provide professional clothing to students.
In collaboration with Breaking Barriers, Counseling Services will be offering FGLI support groups and workshops. Students should visit the counseling website for more information about services available.

Family Weekend Alternatives
Special events for those whose families are unable to attend in person. Past examples have included a virtual family photo shoot.
