Officers responded to Rhoads North on the report of an unauthorized, intoxicated subject in the residence hall. Lower Merion Police responded and the subject, a Villanova student, was arrested and transported to the Lower Merion Police Department.

A vehicle was booted in the Fire Lane of Rhoads Drive when it was found to have numerous unpaid parking citations. The boot was removed upon payment of citations.

Officers responded to Rhoads South on the report of an odor of marijuana. The Officers were unable to detect any odor.

Officers responded to Merion Hall on the report of a fire alarm activation. Investigation determined burned food in a pantry microwave. A fan was placed in the pantry to remove smoke from the area.

Officers responded to Rockefeller Hall on the report of an ill student. The student began to feel better a short time later; transport to the hospital was not required.

Officers responded to the Great Hall on the report of an odor of smoke. Investigation determined that a guest at an event put a booklet on top of a light causing it to smoke. It was removed prior to the Officers arrival.

Officers responded to the soccer field on the report of an injured person. The subject, an athlete from a visiting college, was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Officers responded to Rhoads North on the report of an ill student. The student, who was suffering from an alcohol related illness, was evaluated by BMCEMS. The student will have two friends stay with her throughout the night.

Sunday, Sept. 29 | 3:20 a.m. | Assist Motorist | Ward Lot
Officers responded to the Ward Lot on the report that a delivery person’s vehicle had a flat tire. Lower Merion Police were on scene. The vehicle was repaired and removed later that day.
