Tuesday, Aug. 10 | 11:20 p.m. | Fire Alarm | Wyndham House
The fire alarm activated at Wyndham House.  A roof leak caused water to fill a pull station, activating the alarm. The Facilities Department responded to correct the situation.

Tuesday, Aug. 10 | 4:21 p.m. | Information | Graduate School of Social Work
A subject appeared at the rear door, claiming he worked for a cable company doing work in the area. The subject requested access to the basement of the building to check some of the rooms. The subject was advised to contact the Facilities Department to gain access to the building. On Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2021, at 9 a.m., it was learned that the person who requested access to the building was from “PA One Card” (267-962-8867). 

There were no other significant incidents to report during this time period.

Thursday, Aug. 19 | 1:42 a.m. | Alarm | Radnor Hall
A water flow alarm activated,and the Facilities Department were contacted to correct the situation.

Thursday, Aug. 19 | 1:56 a.m. | Water Leak | Rockefeller Hall
A roof leak was reported and the Facilities Department were contacted to correct the situation.

Thursday, Aug. 19 | 5:59 p.m. | Medical | Taft Garden
An employee refused transportation to the hospital after suffering a medical episode.

Friday, Aug. 20 | 10:44 p.m. | Well-Being | Merion Hall
A family member of a student called to check on their relative’s well-being. The student was contacted and advised. 

Saturday, Aug. 21 | 10:20 p.m. | Medical | Pembroke West
A student was transported to the Bryn Mawr Hospital by Campus Safety for evaluation and treatment.

Saturday, Aug. 21 | 10:07 p.m. | Animal Incident | Rhoads Hall
A garter snake was removed from the basement common room.

Sunday, Aug. 22 | 7:48 p.m. | Water Leak | Radnor Hall
Water was emptied from trash cans that were overflowing from a water leak. Facilities was aware of the situation.

There were no other significant incidents to report during this time period.

A student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital for evaluation and treatment. They returned to campus a short time later.

Tuesday, Aug. 24 | 12:16 a.m. | Animal Incident | Pembroke West
A bat was in a common area and secured. Facilities was notified.

Wednesday, Aug. 25 | 1:58 p.m. | Medical | Campus Center
A student was transported to Urgent Care for evaluation and treatment.

Thursday, Aug. 26 | 5:43 p.m. | Medical | Rockefeller Hall
A student was evaluated and refused treatment.

Friday, Aug. 27 | 4:09 a.m. | Fire Alarm | Rockefeller Hall 
Faulty smoke detector. Facilities notified.

Friday, Aug. 27 | 10:07 a.m | Animal Incident | Erdman Hall
A student was scratched by a friend’s dog. The student was referred to the Health Center.

Friday, Aug. 27 | 11:37 a.m. | Medical | Rockefeller Hall
A student was evaluated for a medical complaint. The student refused transportation to the hospital.  

Saturday, Aug. 28 | 11:53 p.m. | Alcohol | Erdman Hall
A student who was suffering from an alcohol-related illness was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital by Campus Safety for evaluation and treatment.

Saturday, Aug. 28 | 12 a.m. | Alcohol | Erdman Hall 
A student who was suffering from an alcohol-related illness was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital by Narberth Ambulance for evaluation and treatment.

Sunday, Aug. 29 | 7:41 p.m. | Trespass | Erdman Hall
The former friend of a student entered Erdman Hall without permission and left prior to the arrival of Campus Safety.

Sunday, Aug. 29 | 1:48 p.m. | Medical | Pembroke East
A student was evaluated and refused transportation to the hospital. 

Sunday, Aug. 29 | 7:15 p.m. | Medical | Erdman Hall
A student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

The Director of Medical Services was advised of an ill student. The student was assisted.

A student was assisted with a sprained ankle after a fall.

Monday, Aug. 30 | 12:30 p.m. | Injured Foot | New Dorm Dining
An employee injured a toe after accidentally striking a barricade.

Wednesday, Sept. 1 | 3:07 p.m. | Lost Wallet | Bryn Mawr Campus 
A student lost his wallet somewhere between Haverford College and Bryn Mawr College.

Thursday, Sept. 2 | 1:45 a.m. | Medical | Pembroke Arch
A student was transported to the hospital after suffering a cut.

Saturday, Sept. 4 | 1:05 a.m. | Alcohol | Rockefeller Hall 
A student was transported to the hospital after drinking too much alcohol.

Saturday, Sept. 4 | 1:05 a.m. | Well-Being | Rockefeller Hall 
A student was in distress, saying they were having a difficult time adjusting. They stated they would stay with friends in the morning.

Saturday, Sept. 4 | 3:12 p.m. | Medical | Rockefeller Hall
The Director of Medical Services was advised of an ill student. The student was assisted.

Sunday, Sept. 5 | 12:11 a.m. | Alcohol | Pembroke West
A student who was suffering from an alcohol related illness was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital by ambulance.

Sunday, Sept. 5 | 5:16 p.m. | Well-Being Merion Hall 
A student was having difficulty adjusting. The student stated she was fine and was just having a bad day.

There were no other significant incidents to report during this time period.

A well-being check of a student was completed, and the student was fine.

Wednesday, Sept. 8 | 6:15 p.m. | Medical | Rockefeller Hall
A student was transported to the hospital after an ankle injury.

Thursday, Sept. 9 | 6:45 p.m. | Medical | Pembroke East
A student was transported to the hospital after they reported feeling ill.

Friday, Sept. 10 | 4:25 a.m. | Medical | Rhodes Hall
A student was transported to the hospital by ambulance due to a head injury.

Friday, Sept. 10 | 5:10 p.m. | Medical | Merion Hall
A student was transported to the hospital due to extreme pain.

Sunday, Sept. 12 | 8:33 p.m. | Medical | Merion Hall
An ill student was transported to the hospital.

Sunday, Sept. 12 | 3:49 p.m. | Medical | Pembroke Arch
A student with a chronic illness was transported to the hospital.

Monday, Sept. 13 | 1 p.m. | Information | Erdman Hall
A miscommunication occurred between a student and her bank, regarding her account. The mistake was corrected.

Friday, Sept. 17 | 1 p.m. | Medical | Erdman Dining
A student became ill while in the dining hall and refused transportation to the hospital. Campus Safety transported her back to her residence hall. The student said they would contact the Health and Wellness Center later that day.

Saturday, Sept. 18 | 1 p.m. | Medical | Erdman Hall
A student injured their leg and their knee was swollen. Ice was placed on the injury, and they would follow-up on their own.

Saturday, Sept. 18 | 5:38 p.m. | Medical | Campus Safety
A student entered the Campus Safety Office, said they fell, and requested assistance. They were given Neosporin and bandages. They said they would follow-up on their own.
 
Saturday, Sept. 18 | 8:18 p.m. | Information | Campus Safety

A gray tent was erected on the lawn around the Gateway Building. One identified himself as a Villanova graduate student. They were advised to remove the tent and leave.

A vehicle struck an unoccupied vehicle parked in the Gateway lot. The owners exchanged information.

An ill student was transported from the Old Library to the Health and Wellness Center. 

Thursday, Sept. 23 | 9:15 p.m. | Medical | Denbigh Hall 
An ill student was transported from Denbigh Hall to the Bryn Mawr Hospital at their request. 

Friday, Sept. 24 | 11:17 a.m. | Medical | Park Science 
An ill student was transported from Park Science to the Bryn Mawr Hospital at their request. 

Friday, Sept. 24 | 12:11 a.m. | Medical | Park Science 
An ill student was transported from Merion Hall to the Bryn Mawr Hospital at their request. 

Friday Sept. 24 | 4:59 p.m. | Medical | Schwartz Gym 
An ill student was transported from Schwartz Gym to Bryn Mawr Hospital at their request. 

Saturday, Sept. 25 | 9:50 p.m. | Intoxication | Merion Hall 
Campus Safety responded to Merion for a report of an intoxicated student. They were coherent and were able to stay with a friend for the evening. 

Saturday, Sept. 25 | 10:44 p.m. | Intoxication | Erdman Hall 
An intoxicated student was transported from Erdman Hall by ambulance to Bryn Mawr hospital. 

Sunday, Sept. 26 | 2:23 p.m. | Medical | Schwartz Gym 
A student was treated for an ankle injury at Scwartz gym. The student declined any further assistance.

Sunday, Sept. 26 | 9:26 p.m. | Medical | Pem Arch 
A student was transported from Pem Arch to Bryn Mawr Hospital for COVID-19 symptoms. Test results were negative.

There were no other significant incidents to report during this time period.

A student who had become ill while in the Park Science Building was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital.

Wednesday, Sept. 29 | 2:40 p.m. | Medical | Brecon Hall
A student having an allergic reaction was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital.

Sunday, Oct. 3 | 12:51 a.m. | Alcohol | Erdman Hall
Several Pembroke East students were escorted from Erdman Hall after they had been drinking.

Sunday, Oct. 3 | 2:38 a.m. | Alcohol | Haverford Campus
An intoxicated student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital from Haverford Campus.  Student returned to the Bryn Mawr College campus at 6:44 a.m.

There were no other significant incidents to report during this time period.

Monday, Oct. 4 | 4:02 p.m. | Fire/Alarm | Erdman Dining
A grease fire was reported. The Ansul system turned off the gas and electricity in the stove area and extinguished the fire. Facilities remained at the scene.

Tuesday, Oct. 5 | 7:24 p.m. | Vehicle Damage | Gateway Parking Lot
A report was received regarding damage to a vehicle. The vehicle was parked in the lot on 9-29-21. The owner notified their insurance company.

Wednesday, Oct. 6 | 12:40 p.m. | Animal Incident | Goodhart Hall
A garter snake was removed from the lobby and released outside.

Thursday, Oct. 7 | 2:15 a.m. | Medical | Brecon Hall
An ill student was transported to the Bryn Mawr Hospital at 2:15 a.m. The student was transported back to campus at 6 a.m. 

Friday, Oct. 8 | 1:15 p.m. | Medical | Brecon Hall
A student rolled their ankle while walking. They were given an ice pack and they were able to walk away on their own power. 

Friday, Oct. 8 | 10:30 p.m. | Information | Off-Campus
A student reported an incident that occurred off campus.

Sunday, Oct. 10 | 3:45 p.m. | Medical | Erdman Hall
An ill student was transported to the hospital. They were transported bac. to campus a few hours later.

There were no other significant incidents to report during this time period.

An intoxicated student was transported to the hospital. They were transported back to campus a few hours later.

A student had not contacted friends since Saturday, Oct. 16, and was not answering their phone.  Contact was made on Sunday, Oct. 17, at 6:30 p.m.  The student was fine.
