Grounds crew reported graffiti spray painted on the walkway near Pem Arch, the east and south side of Taylor Hall, and north wall of Canaday library. The graffiti, which was done in maroon, blue, and pink spray paint, contained no threatening or racist remarks. The grounds crew intends to power wash the area and will recoat the walkways with blacktop sealer.

Both Canopy umbrellas had fallen over and were damaged. One of the umbrellas was blocking the steps leading to the front door of Canaday Library. Umbrellas moved to clear the area. Facilities was notified.

Campus Safety responded to Goodhart for a fire alarm activation. Smoke from a magic trick performed by members of Magic Camp was found to be the source. The area was ventilated and occupants returned to the building.

A student reported an unknown male walked into her Covid isolation room while she was on the phone with her mother. The male was identified as a housekeeper who was assigned to check the room which was supposed to be vacated at the time.

Campus Safety received a report of a young male sleeping in an unoccupied room at Erdman. He was identified as the brother of a BMC student and Erdman resident. He was sleeping in the room because it was “too hot” in his sister’s room. He was advised that he could not do this.
