Opportunities for Students

Throughout the year, The Impact Center for Community, Equity, and Understanding provides guidance to student groups, connects students to crucial resources and support services, and provides informal advising and trainings in the areas of diversity, inclusion and social justice.

Among the student-focused initiatives coordinated by The Impact Center are fellowships and the annual Dr. Hayley S. Thomas Prize Senior Diversity Prize.

In the fall of 2020, Bryn Mawr students created teach-ins to provide an alternate form of education about race and equity on campus and in our broader society. Interested students, staff, and faculty are invited to offer teach-ins that contributes to building understanding of structural racism and learning about practices that advance equity and inclusion. You can learn more by visiting the teach-in page.
