Multilingual Writing

Bryn Mawr College is home to students from all over the world, making our campus thrive with multilingual and diverse perspectives and ideas. Multilingual writers are an essential part of a globalized education and in the operations of our entire campus, especially in our classrooms.

The Writing Program recognizes and appreciates that while living and studying in a non-native language has its benefits and tremendous growth potential, this ascent is not without hurdles. As multilingual students are an integral part of our community, we offer support and resources for multilingual students, faculty who teach them, and staff who support them.

Knowing that you came to Bryn Mawr to pursue an education, we offer support in the areas of academics with reading, writing, speaking, workload and time management, and so on. At the same time, understanding that academics is just one aspect of your life on campus, we strive to create an environment where your voices are heard, your culture and native language(s) are empowered, and your life skills are nurtured.
