Major representatives (often referred to as "major reps") represent their fellow history majors to the faculty, and are available to talk to students informally about the major and otherwise serve as a resource. They and other students help to organize extracurricular departmental events as well.

Internships and Experiential Learning Opportunities
The Career and Civic Engagement Center at Bryn Mawr provides information on a number of experiential learning opportunities of interest to history majors and minors. Not every internship is paid, but Bryn Mawr will often provide partial or full funding to students working unpaid internships, particularly during the summer.
