Graduates of Bryn Mawr's physics program have gone on to a wide variety of successful careers in academia, medicine, research, finance, science communication and outreach, engineering, software development, and law. Following in the footsteps of their professors at Bryn Mawr, many alums have embarked on teaching careers of their own including physics professors at Mount Holyoke, Middlebury College, Georgia Tech, and even Bryn Mawr College (Hi Kate)! Recent students have gone on to do graduate work in physics or engineering at institutions, including Harvard, Princeton, Columbia, Yale, U. Penn, MIT, and Duke. A close connection between current physics majors and alumni is vital for encouraging students to continue their educations in physics and science past undergrad.
