Bryn Mawr's Self-Study

What Is a Self-Study?

A self-study is a comprehensive, institution-wide review conducted as part of the accreditation process. Through evidence gathering, assessment, analysis, and community engagement, Bryn Mawr will evaluate how effectively it meets MSCHE standards and advances its mission, goals, and strategic priorities. The self-study is designed not only to demonstrate compliance but also to support continuous improvement and innovation.

  2. Use assessment results to support continuous improvement and innovation.
  3. Engage the College community in an inclusive and transparent process of self-appraisal.
