Accessible Photo Usage — best practices for choosing and preparing images that support users with a range of access needs (Grace)

Alt Text Essentials — how to write clear, descriptive alternative text that communicates meaning effectively (Grace)

Inclusive Visual Decision-Making — strategies for selecting imagery that aligns with accessibility goals, context, and user intent (Grace)

Additional Topics TBD — expanded guidance on inclusive visual design and media accessibility (Grace)

This session advances the Digital Images Basics certificate by focusing on the accessibility side of visual communication. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of how imagery can support—or hinder—access, and leave with practical tools to ensure your photos, graphics, and media create a more inclusive experience across the College’s digital platforms.
