A Math Major's Summer Recap
Are you wondering about different summer possibilities? Ellie will share her experiences from the past summer.
Through the Career & Civic Engagement Center’s internship partners, Ellie became a remote intern for the Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America). She worked on transportation-related projects from both policy and technical angles, learning about the nonprofit industry.
Ellie also participated in the Summer Institute for Training in Biostatistics and Data Science (SIBDS) program at Columbia’s School of Public Health. During this program, she was able to take biostats and data science classes, as well as conduct an applied math research project about dementia biomarkers.
