Breaking Barriers is a comprehensive program for first-generation, limited-income (also known as FGLI), and/or undocumented students by providing mentorship, programming and support services and resources. Breaking Barriers Scholars may identify with one or more of these experiences and are part of a larger community composed of peers, staff, and faculty at Bryn Mawr who share these experiences.

Students eligible are initially invited to the program; however, anyone may choose to opt-in at any point throughout their time at Bryn Mawr.

To be eligible, students must identify with at least one of the following,

  • First-Generation
  • Limited-Income
  • Undocumented/DACA
