How My Heat Works
Facilities Services will turn heat on across campus once the College begins to experience sustained nighttime temperatures of 40°F or less with predicted continuing trends in that range. This is a guideline that will be used along with common sense dictated by specific weather patterns and operational necessity.
Please select your dorm from the list below to better understand how the heat works and is controlled in your room. If you have further questions or feel that there is still a problem with your heat, please contact Facilities Services. Please remember, the use of electric personal space heaters on campus is not permitted. Any exceptions to this policy must be requested through and approved by Facilities Services.
