Study Abroad Events Calendar
Events will be held throughout the Spring semester to familiarize students with the process of studying abroad, from selecting a program, to completing your application to preparing to travel. While these are primarily geared towards sophomores in the sophomore planning process, all are welcome! Events will be posted as they are confirmed throughout the semester.

Come join us for an informal Bi-Co chat with Abbey Fox of SIT, Haverford Director of Study Abroad Rebecca Avery, and BMC Director of Global Education Tracy Weber. Consider aspects of your identity as you explore study abroad options. Gain insight into how researching cultural norms and local practices can help you navigate how you may be perceived in and interact with your host country. Learn about studying abroad through SIT, with plenty of time for Q & A. All students are welcome!

Come join us for an informal chat with Lindsay Turlan of APA and BMC Director of Global Education Tracy Weber. Get tips on talking with your parents about studying abroad, from introducing the idea to engaging them in your planning to maintaining support and connection overseas. Learn about studying abroad in Paris through APA, with plenty of time for Q & A. All students are welcome!

Interested in spending time abroad, but unsure how to pay for it? Come meet Fellowships Advisor Ellie Stanford and Director of Global Education Tracy Weber, and learn about fellowships and other opportunities to fund overseas study during your time at Bryn Mawr, including summer opportunities. We will also be joined by Gilman Scholarship recipient Lila Sattler (class of 2023).
