All research involving recombinant or synthetic nucleic acids (rsNA) or other biohazards must be processed through the Biosafety Committee using the Biosafety Protocol form. Any concerns regarding biosafety should be reported in writing and submitted electronically to the Biosafety chair with a copy to the BMC Compliance officer.

Researchers working with recombinant or synthetic nucleic acids (rsNA) or other biohazards are required to complete CITI's online Biosafety training and submit documentation of completion to the college.
To access the training modules: Required Bio-Safety Training Modules
When you are finished, follow these steps to upload your completion report:
- Click on My Reports.
- Find the Bio-Safety report and click View.
- Save the PDF to your hard drive for your records.
