Assistant Dean for Administration

Bryn Mawr College has an opening for an Assistant Dean for Administration in the Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research

THE POSITION
The Assistant Dean for Administration plays a vital role at the GSSWSR by
providing programmatic, administrative, and student support.  Will work directly with the Dean on planning, implementing, and evaluating the Master of Social Service (MSS) program.  Responsibilities will include course planning and scheduling, hiring academic staff, coordinating academic advising, assisting with registration and enrollment, course registration, maintaining student records, and other duties in support of the program.

Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred. Experience in higher education program administration, experience working with diverse students and adult learners, Experience working with student records, database management and familiarity with learning management systems.  Excellent oral and written communication skills, capacity to multi-task, and to collaborate with students, faculty and staff.
