Field Photography Tips — cell phone photography techniques for capturing clear, compelling images anywhere
Headshot Best Practices — how to plan, frame, and select professional portraits for web use
Selecting Images for the Web — guidance for choosing visuals that enhance content, align with brand standards, and improve accessibility
Selecting Images for News & Events — what to look for when illustrating stories, announcements, and event coverage
This session continues the Digital Images Basics certificate with hands-on guidance for creating and curating visuals that connect. You’ll gain practical tips for taking better photos, choosing the right images for your pages, and building a consistent visual identity that supports Bryn Mawr’s storytelling across all platforms.
To earn the Digital Images Basics Certificate, participants must complete the following training sessions:
- Digital Images Basics: From Blurry to Brilliant (this session – register above)
- Digital Images Basics: Accessibility & Alt Text (Spring ’26 – registration TBA)
- Digital Images Basics: Advanced Optimization & Media Management (Spring ’26 – registration TBA)
