Welcome!
Navigating the complexities of college simultaneous to balancing comprehensive wellness is a challenge. To ensure student success, Bryn Mawr has committed to effectively serve and support the whole student, both in and outside of the classroom, to find that balance. We want our students to thrive academically while also feeling fulfilled in all other aspects of their lives at and beyond the college. Through advising, programming, and mentorship, our student success team is dedicated to supporting them in their holistic journey.
Academic Information and Reminders
- November 3-14: Pre-Registration for Spring 2026, including third quarter PE courses.
- November 5: Withdrawal deadline for full-semester courses.
- November 7: Last day to drop a second quarter course.
- November 14: Last day to declare Cr/NC for second quarter courses (at 5pm)
- November 19: Withdrawal deadline for 2nd quarter academic courses
- November 26: Thanksgiving break begins after last class
- December 1: Classes resume at 8am.
- December 1: Spring tuition bill posts.
The Swim Test will be given on the following dates below. Please click on the date to register in Handshake. Please note that the test will begin at the time indicated. Please arrive earlier than the scheduled time so you can check in. You must be in your swimming attire and ready to begin at the time posted below. Don't forget your BMC ID!

Pre-registration for Spring 2026 will be held November 3 to November 14.
The Class Deans will have extended drop-in hours in Guild Hall on the days listed below.
Please note that pre-registration drop-ins are for quick questions. If you have a more complex question or situation, please make an appointment with your Class Dean.
- Tuesday, November 4 to Thursday, November 6: 2-4pm (all students)
- Thursday, November 6: 1-3pm (first year students only)
- Monday, November 10 to Thursday, November 13: 3-4pm (all students)
- Pre-Registration Information
- Takes place November 3-14 in Bionic.
- All students can pre-register for a maximum of 4.5 units.
- Bryn Mawr course lotteries (if applicable) will be held after Thanksgiving. You should receive notification of a drop or waitlist the first week of December.
- If you’ve been impacted by a course lottery, you will be able to make changes to your schedule when Bionic opens for everyone mid January.
- Third quarter spring courses are also in Bionic for pre-registration.
- A fifth course cannot be added until Bionic opens for everyone in January.
- An academic course load of 5.5 academic unit requires approval of your Class Dean.
- Spring PE registration begins on November 3 in Bionic too!
- Creative Writing no longer requires B999. Students will register for the CRWT courses themselves like any other courses and if overenrolled, there will be a lottery for that course.

The Class Deans hold drop-in hours in Guild from 3-4pm Monday through Thursday. If you need assistance please come to Guild to meet with a Class Dean!
Refer a Student of Concern
If you’re concerned about a student, please utilize this Student of Concern referral form to make a report. Students, staff, faculty, and community members are able to make a referral. Once a referral is made, Student Support Services and/or the appropriate Class Dean will complete outreach to the referred student and invite them to meet in-person, over zoom, or via phone to discuss concerns, resources, and actions to address needs.
