Facilities and Equipment
Technology in classrooms
Nearly all classrooms have data projection equipment and many have microphones and cameras for lecture capture or video-conferencing. Check specific classrooms here.
Digital Media and Collaboration Lab
All libraries provide computers with a full suite of college-provided software. Come to the Carpenter DMCL for higher-powered computers or additional specialized software for visual design, 3D-modeling, and data analysis.
Makerspace
The Makerspace houses equipment for critical making, including a laser cutter, 3D printers, sewing and embroidery machines, and 3D scanners.
Multimedia equipment loans
Students, faculty and staff can borrow CD/DVD drives, microphones, cameras, tripods and other equipment from the Canaday library circulation desk.

Canaday also has carrels and rooms with equipment for video viewing.
Software and Hosting
Moodle
Moodle is the College's learning management system. See the Moodle section in AskAthena for help using Moodle.
Panopto
Panopto is the College's lecture-capture and video-streaming platform. See the Panopto section in Ask Athena for more info on what it can do!
Zoom
Faculty, students and staff can use a College Zoom account for video-conferencing, to record lectures and for appointment booking. See the Zoom section in Ask Athena.
Adobe Creative Cloud
Adobe Creative Cloud includes Adobe's complete audiovisual editing suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Audition), Adobe Acrobat for creating and editing PDFs, and Adobe's AI-generation tool Firefly. Desktop versions of these apps are installed or available for install on library, lab and other college-owned computers. Students, faculty and staff can use web-based apps, such as Adobe Express and Firefly, on any computer, and faculty and staff can download desktop apps to personal computers. WeVideo
WeVideo is cloud-based, collaborative video-editing software that enables multiple people to work on the same video. An account on Bryn Mawr's license removes the limitations of a free account.
Domain of One's Own
Domain of One’s Own (DOO) gives Bryn Mawr College is a web-hosting solution that gives Bryn Mawr faculty, students, and staff their own subdomain of digital.brynmawr.edu for developing web and web apps.
