At the start of every semester, the Film Studies Program is looking for a crew of reliable, responsible projectionists who will screen films for Film Studies courses. Projectionist's duties include: pick-up and return of video and film material; projecting video and, on occasion, 16mm films; monitoring sound levels and playback equipment during screenings; taking attendance. Students may not be projectionists for courses in which they are enrolled. Training provided. Interest in film desirable! Three hours per week, per course. These are Level II campus jobs. Projectionists must be able to work entire semester at the scheduled course screening time.

Funding for summer internships in film and media-related industries is available through the Jentes Family and Program in Film Studies internship funds. Previously funded projects include internships with Women Make Movies and Frameline. Contact the Dean's office for further information about the application process.
