Engineering

A Computer Science major at Bryn Mawr who wishes to transition directly into an engineering program has the option of applying through the 4+1 Partnership with the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering and Applied Science (Penn).

This program requires the student to complete sufficient coursework at Bryn Mawr to receive a bachelor’s degree from the College. The student would complete four years of coursework at Bryn Mawr, possibly including some courses at Penn; she then would spend an additional year there and earn an additional M.S. in engineering from Penn. Students may apply as early as their fourth semester and as late as their seventh semester.
