Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology
The Department of Psychology at Bryn Mawr College invites applications for a benefits-eligible Visiting Assistant Professor to begin August 1, 2026 for the 2026-2027 academic year. The successful candidate will be expected to teach five or six course equivalents, including a 200-level survey course (e.g., Behavioral Neuroscience, Human Cognition, Social Psychology), an upper-level seminar in the individual’s area of expertise, as well as lecture and lab sections of one or both of our foundational courses in the major (either Introductory Psychology or Research Methods and Statistics). We seek scholars committed to engaging a diverse student body and creating an inclusive classroom environment in a liberal arts context. Candidates should hold a doctoral degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a closely allied field and must have completed all Ph.D. requirements by the start date.
