Faculty Research Pool

The Faculty Research Pool is administered through the Office of Sponsored Research. These funds are intended to support modest research needs of continuing members of the Faculty. Requests for support may be made for minor expenses associated with the faculty member's research (e.g. typing, microfilming, illustrations, drafting, transcription, transportation, publication, equipment, etc.).

Reimbursement of these costs is up to a maximum of $1,000 per eligible faculty member per year. Faculty members holding endowed chairs are not eligible for the Faculty Research Pool Funds until they have exhausted their Chair funds. Faculty Research Pool reimbursements can be submitted in Workday to the Provost Research Pool Cost Center directly by the faculty member or by their academic administrative assistant.
