WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT THE SHOW

Directed by visiting theater faculty member Emmanuelle Delpech, NOWHERE will be a devised, interactive theater piece that explores the collision between two worlds: A wedding party in which the audience become the guests, until the luxurious celebration begins to give way to a tent encampment, in which people are finding their own rituals of love, survival, and sense of life when they have almost nothing left. We’ll explore how we can meet, communicate with, and share space and time with one another when our social status and lives are completely different—particularly when some of us are now here, but don’t know where next.

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT AUDITIONS:

  • Please dress comfortably in clothing you can move around in—nothing tight, wear comfy warm socks, no heels, etc. We will be doing a physical warm-up, singing, and some devising.
  • Everyone will audition together, as a group, and you don’t need to prepare anything in advance!
  • Please don’t worry if you can’t be there right at the beginning or if you’ll need to leave a bit early—just come by soon as you’re able/let us know that you’ll need to leave before the end.
