Online Teaching Institute

A professional development conference delivered entirely online, the Online Teaching Institute was an opportunity for participants to work together on designing online courses. Through the Institute, both faculty new to online course work and those with more experience were able to improve their practice. Participants also had the opportunity to meet with LITS consultants to support hands-on development of their online, hybrid, and blended courses.

Discussions and learning sessions included the following topics:

  • Accessibility and Assistive Technology
  • Building Community Online
  • Incorporating the library into your online or hybrid course
  • Moodle: From Zero to Hero
  • Online Language Teaching
  • Panopto Q&A
  • Zoom: From Zero to Hero

Although the last Online Teaching Institute took place in 2020, you can still request access to its Moodle site to explore content and resources. Please contact Chris Boyland at cboyland@brynmawr.edu to do so. To book appointments with the Education and Scholarly Technology team (EAST), please visit our Calendly page.
