Special Collections Internships
Department of Special Collections, Rare Books, Manuscripts, and College Archives

The Friends of the Bryn Mawr College libraries have provided funding for a student to conduct a 10-week internship in the Department of Special Collections, Rare Books, Manuscripts, and Archives. During the 10-week internship, the intern will explore working with rare books, manuscripts, the College's archives, and digital collections.
The work may include description and cataloging, conservation, inventory, collection assessment, project planning, and digital reproduction and presentation of cultural items. The intern will work on campus.

Department of Special Collections, Art and Artifacts
Deadline: March 22, 2023
The Friends of the Library have provided funding for a student to participate in collections work during the summer of 2022. The project will incorporate cataloging and photography of objects related to an inventory of the collection. There may be other collections management related activities. This is a 10-week internship. At this point we expect the position to be entirely on-site, but the actual arrangements may change in response to the pandemic.
