About Global Engagement

Our mission is to build a robust community of global learning and international perspectives by offering opportunities to students, faculty, and staff.  We support the incubation, development, and implementation of international programs, partnerships, and initiatives at and beyond Bryn Mawr and help prepare all members of the College community for a safe experience abroad.

• Developing new opportunities for study abroad, fellowships, exchanges, and other types of international partnerships
• Supporting campus safety preparedness by convening the Travel Safety Council, administering a college travel registry, and providing travel health and safety resources to the campus community
• Enhancing communications about global engagement within and beyond the College
• Passport Initiative
• International Education Week
• Summer Global Opportunities Fairs (Fall and Spring), in collaboration with Career & Civic Engagement
• Offering and developing workshops and other opportunities for all students to engage with purposeful reflection and storytelling
• Hosting annual Global Engagement Retreats with colleagues across the Tri-Co engaged with global education and fellowship advising
