Global Engagement - Two people holding passports

Passport Initiative

Bryn Mawr undergraduate students can receive funding to support U.S. passport application or renewal fees.

Are you a current Bryn Mawr undergraduate student who wants to apply for or renew a U.S. passport in order to study abroad, travel with a 360 or just to have on hand? If the answer is yes, then you are eligible to apply to the Passport Initiative!

The Passport Initiative is open to any current undergraduate student wishing to apply for or renew a U.S. passport. Applicants can be from any class year, and students do not have to plan to participate in study abroad or other college-sponsored international travel in order to apply.

Applications may be submitted at any time, although they are reviewed and approved one to two times per semester.

The funding can fund the U.S. passport application fee ($130) and the U.S. passport acceptance fee ($35). Individual students may be awarded a maximum of $165. Please note that this funding is available for U.S. passport applications only.
