At this point, Juniors should be considering what their post-graduation plans are after their time at Bryn Mawr. Making a decision on your next pathway can be challenging, especially as you look to finish the remainder of your studies at Bryn Mawr, however, reflection with our Career and Civic Engagement Center staff can help make that process easier. As a Sophomore, you developed your resume, and now, as a Junior, you should be focused on identifying a desired career pathway whether that is graduate school, a gap year, military service, fellowships, or applying for jobs.

Here are a few resources to help you reflect and make an informed decision about your career path. The more students learn about their chosen pursuits, the more they realize there are many factors to consider and that career interests are typically not dictated by your chosen major. Career Self-Assessments
While no assessment provides an exact formula, the personalized data that the tools offer can help you identify and explore your preferences, behaviors, and styles.

Attend alumnae/i chats to meet alums who are excited to share their experiences and make connections with students.

Career Closet
All are welcome to browse the Career Closet and select clothing or an outfit that makes you feel confident and ready to accomplish your goals!

- As you think about exploring career paths, pursuing internships, or getting more civically involved, a wonderful approach is to talk to alumnae/i! Alums in Mawrter Connect are eager to share their stories, experiences, and advice with you.
- Attend alumnae/i chats to connect with alums who are excited to share their experiences with students; check out the schedule in Handshake.
- Apply for an externship to shadow an alum at their job during winter and spring breaks and get a firsthand glimpse into a field of interest; look for application details in Handshake.
