Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update: With our focus on maintaining everyone’s health and safety while also ensuring your comfort and wellbeing, we have modified our service approach. Our staff will be masked per the College requirements. If you are in your room/office when our staff arrives, you will need to be masked. You will be asked to step out of your room/office while our staff performs the requested/required work. Please note, that if you wish to schedule a specific day/time for the work to occur, this may delay the service response time. Emergency/urgent work cannot be scheduled.
Our Call Center is staffed from 7 a.m. through 5 p.m. Service requests that are non-urgent should be requested via the Service Request Form.
Urgent requests (e.g., issues involving personal safety, security, or loss, or damage to facilities or property) should be phoned into the Facilities Services Call Center at x7930 during normal business hours. If an urgent request occurs during off hours, contact Campus Safety at x7911. Campus Safety will notify the 24-hour, on-call mechanic, if necessary.
Generally, requests for maintenance and repairs take precedent over requests for alterations and improvements. For general inquiries regarding ongoing work or cost estimates, please contact our Call Center at x7930 during regular business hours.
The following types of calls are dispatched immediately by radio:
- Heating/Air Conditioning-related calls
- Major leaks
- Ice/Snow Removal
Work order requests are reviewed within 24 hours of the request. The average response time for work requests are as follows:
- Emergency: Working hours, 30 minutes; Off hours and weekends, 2 hours
- Urgent: Same-day response/dispatched by radio
- Routine: Average response not more than 1 week
