Fellowships
We offer guidance about applying to fellowships at Bryn Mawr and beyond.
About Our Office
Our goal is to assist Bryn Mawr students each step of the way, helping students find information and navigate processes so they can take advantage of the opportunities available.
Each year, Bryn Mawr students apply for many prestigious national scholarships and fellowships, often with great success.
These fellowships provide funding for the last years of undergraduate education, for graduate education both in the United States and abroad, or for travel and independent research not tied to an academic institution.
Bryn Mawr's fellowships advisers offer guidance on all stages of the application process: writing personal statements, requesting letters of recommendation, completing online forms, and preparing for interviews.

Previous Fellowship Recipients
Bryn Mawr students are consistently recipients of a range of competitive national and international fellowships. These opportunities have, to name just a few, allowed our students to study in the Netherlands, conduct research at a top institution in Germany, establish a shea butter cooperative in Ghana, and teach English in countries from Belgium to Botswana. Through the application process, working closely with the fellowships advisor, they are supported to develop their critical thinking, self-reflection, writing and interviewing abilities. These fellowships enable Bryn Mawr students and alums to realize their own dreams and to contribute to communities in the U.S. and abroad, through graduate education, research, public service, and more.
The Cabell Scholarship is given by the Bryn Mawr Rotary Club which honors a current junior for community service and academic excellence.
