Health Insurance

Bryn Mawr College requires all students to be covered by health insurance. Students who have their own coverage are able to waive out of the College's plan during the annual wavier period. Students who do not have their own policy or do not waive out of the plan will be enrolled in the College's plan and the charge will be added to the student account. Information for the plan can be found at https://www.firststudent.com/school_page/bryn-mawr-college/home-bryn-mawr-college/. The deadline for the waiver for the Spring semester is January 30, 2021. Please note this only applies to newly enrolled students. Students who enrolled in Fall 2020 were required to waive during the annual waiver which has closed.

All international students are required to be enrolled in the College's International Student Insurance plan. Please note that due to the unusual circumstances for this academic year, undergraduate international students who are planning to study remotely from their home country will not be required to take the insurance plan.

Graduate and postbaccaluareate students may waive insurance coverage or purchase insurance through the College's plan. For more information on the plan, including the waiver deadline and wavier form, visit http://www.firststudent.com/ and select Bryn Mawr College. If coverage is not waived the charge for the plan will be added to the student account.
